Welcome to Adult and Community Education!


I am so excited to welcome you to our center.  We have endless possibilities in store for you as you explore the right option for your future.  Whether you are on the path of a High School Diploma, a Career Certificate, discovering an enrichment activity, or you want to learn English, ACE has the program for you!


At The Center for Adult & Community Education we truly believe in lifelong learning for all.  We are here to help our students meet their individual and professional goals through personal relationships with a caring and qualified staff and in conjunction with great community partnerships throughout Clay County.  We are here to help enrich the lives of our students and to explore their potential.  Our in-person and online classes are innovative, relevant, and will meet the needs of individual adult learners.

Dear Students,

As the Coordinator of Workforce Development, I am excited to welcome you to Clay County Adult and Community Education! Here at our center we believe that education is the key to unlocking your full potential and opening doors to new opportunities. 

Our program offers a variety of opportunities for you to achieve your goals, whether that is earning your GED, obtaining a career certification, improving your English speaking skills, or learning a new skill through one of our community enrichment classes, our dedicated instructors will provide you with the guidance and resources you need to succeed. No matter what stage of life you are in, we are here to support you every step of the way.

We understand that as an adult learner, you bring a unique perspective and life experience to the classroom that enriches our community. We also understand that your decision to continue your education is an enormous step towards building a better future for yourself. Which is why, no matter what stage you are in life, we are here to help every step of the way. It’s never too late to learn.
